ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Ketchikan; I’m married and have two adult children and five grandchildren. We are a Ketchikan baseball family! Through the years family members have coached their kids, I’ve been team mom, eons ago I helped to coordinate some SE and State Tournaments that were held in town, and I have enjoyed the times I was score keeping or flipping burgers with friends in the concession stands! And for years I’ve been helping to cook & serve at the Soup Kitchen once or twice a month.

WHY STAC

What brought me to STAC? In 1986 I received a phone call from a friend who asked me to come answer the phone at Clover Pass Community Church while they were going through some staffing shortages. I became the church secretary then in 1989 I shifted over to become the Clover Pass Christian School secretary/bookkeeper. Easter 1990 was STAC’s first official church service, which I attended, and have been attending ever since. In 1996 when my youngest completed CPCS I was asked to be the South Tongass Alliance Church secretary/bookkeeper and folks you’ve been stuck with me ever since! These 37 years in these positions were orchestrated by God and I am grateful!
