I am married to my high school sweetheart Lee Caskey, and we have 3 children, Emilee who is 17, Piper who is 14, and Cameron who is 12. I enjoy reading, hiking, walking and worship music. My passions are kids and animals. We have cats, dogs, and a bird at home.

I love getting out with my dogs and my kids in nature and enjoying the beautiful creation that God has given to us. When it is nice out you can usually find me on a trail or walking the bike trail south of town on the weekends.

My children are important to me so you will see me at their sporting or school events. I have learned more about swimming, gymnastics and basketball than I would have otherwise by being involved in the lives of my children.

I was a stay at home mom until my youngest was in kindergarten and when I was looking for a job I kept coming across a job posting for the daycare out at Clover Pass Community Church. I dismissed it many times before I finally got the point that God was bringing it to my attention for a reason, I didn’t feel qualified to be a caregiver for young children. God used a sermon about Jeremiah’s calling to tell me that he didn’t always call the qualified but qualifies the called. In faith I applied for the job and found that yes this is where I fit and where my calling is. I worked hard and got my Child Development Associate Credential and my goal is to eventually get my associates degree in early childhood education.

When my family moved into town from north of town we decided we needed to find a church that prioritized children and had a good program for our kids to grow in. We had been attending Clover Pass so it was a natural decision to come to South Tongass Alliance Church and found that we loved it here. My kids have thrived here and I have found a home here at this church. I am excited to be able to reach more children for Christ through our early learning center and to have the opportunity to bless their families.
