INTERESTED IN SERVING IN UGANDA?
In the summer of 2017 a team from STAC, lead by Pastor Cade, will partner with a team from Colorado to serve in Uganda. This will be STAC's 3rd trip to serve in Uganda. Trip details are listed below. Trip Details:
Initiatives: Partnering with EMI. Presently constructing a new 2 theatre Surgical Center at Ayira Hospital. Plan is to take 1-2 teams to complete plumbing and electrical. Would also like to finish tiling of the OR floors and lower walls. Really need 1-2 plumbers and 1-2 electricians that can then direct a team of hard working lay persons. Presently working on a medical component to the trip.
Time Frame: The initial trip was going to be one 16 day (two week) or two 10-12 day teams in June 2017. We are currently waiting to hear if June is still the plan based on the construction schedule.
Cost: $2800-3200 inclusive. Air travel, ground transportation, lodging, food & water, travel insurance, and safari at the end of the trip. Murchison Falls National Park. Individuals responsible for own fund raising.
Passport and Visa: passport must be valid for 6 months following last day of the trip. VISA is now all done on-line thru the Ugandan Embassy ($100).
Vaccinations: Yellow Fever required. Tetanus, Typhoid and Hepatitis A/B encouraged.
Malarial Prophylaxis: Will be required. Either Malarone or Doxycycline.
Deadline for “Dream Team” applications: FEB 28th with $250 deposit (non-refundable).
Deadline for Complete Funding: approx. MAY 15th.
